PARIS HILTON AND NICOLE RICHIE TEASE NEW REALITY SHOW 20 YEARS AFTER “THE SIMPLE LIFE”

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie fans are all sliving with excitement now that it has been confirmed that these former reality stars are set to debut a new TV show on their platform in the near future in celebration of their 20 years since filming their hit reality TV show “The Simple Life.” in the early 2000s.

 

For five high rating seasons the show follows the duo as they leave their lavish lifestyles behind to experience living in more rural and modest environments. They were put to the challenge of having to live with different middle class families and sent off to work odd jobs in different settings and challenges ranging from working as carhops at Sonic, to Camp Counselors, even at a funeral home and a plastic surgery center. 

 

The show's appeal largely comes from the contrast between the stars' glamorous backgrounds and the often mundane or challenging tasks they had to perform, resulting in many comedic moments and cultural shock factors.

 

Updates on what the two pop culture icons have been collaborating on is up for speculation, but seeing as Paris Hilton posted this video below of a Television set playing the words “sansas sansas,” a bit from their previous show and the caption, “New Era, Same Besties” has fans wondering if their new show will have them set for embarking on an entirely new adventure together outside of their roadtrip era they filmed in their early 20s.

 

On Wednesday, May 15th, 2024 Nicole Richie went on Good Morning America to promote her upcoming film “Summer Camp,” as a supporting actress. During the interview she mentioned, "It’s been 20 years since Paris and I worked together. We wanted to celebrate that. I can’t tell you too much right now, but we’ve worked together to create something very special and exciting. I can’t wait for it to come out.” Which has everyone on the edge of their seats in anticipation for what these two are keeping under wraps.

 

Recently Paris has released two seasons of her reality show, that follows her love life with her newly husband Carter and the birth of her son Phoenix. While also releasing a book called “Paris: The Memoir” which displayed a major look into the fashion icon's life beyond her public persona and revealed the challenges she faced in her personal life showcasing her resilience and advocacy efforts.

Meanwhile, Nicole Richie has also been in the public eye recently for her acting roles in the remake of Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead and Good Burger 2.

 

It’s apparent that these two haven’t lived much of The Simple Life since the show wrapped after five seasons. They’ve each married, had two children, and leveraged their fame and entrepreneurial spirits to build diverse and extensive business empires.

As of right now, we don’t know exactly what these two are creating behind the scenes together again, but we are all excited to see what new adventures and surprises Paris and Nicole will be revealing soon. If it’s anything like The Simple Life, we can expect Nicole and Paris to give us a comedic and refreshing view of where they are now in their lives and a new perspective on how much has changed or stayed the same between the two of them.
